Hello forum members,
I have some feature suggestions for Deskscapes and I apologize if it already exists (I can't find it documented if it does).
I would like Deskscapes to have some keyboard shortcuts for controlling pausing and advancing to the next or last wallpapers. The single most important of these is "pause" especially now in Win 11 where it takes two clicks to get into the desktop context menu (right-click, and the more options or whatever it is). I find that sometimes when my machine is overloaded, I can't even get the context menu to come up. I just get the neverending circle of doom. The wheel in the sky keeps on turning.
It would even better if the keyboard shortcuts were configurable or if not, could be at least enabled/disabled for folks who don't want interference with some other shortcut.
Another option would be to have a controller in the systray that isn't so dependent on the context menu.
Another great thing that could be incorporated would be a "Show this background in the file system" command. I organize my holiday backgrounds in different folders and sometimes, I find something playing (like a Christmas background) when it shouldn't be in my dynamic playlist because I have placed it in the wrong folder. But without a lot of sleuthing, it takes a lot of work to figure out even the name of the background. Same thing with backgrounds that I have created but I feel still need work. That way I could quickly find them when they come up and move them to my "Needs work" folder.
Thank you for indulging me...
